French Quarter rats disappearing as New Orleans employs pandemic to its edge

NEW ORLEANS — When the French Quarter shut down in March in the early days of Coronavirus pandemic, rats came out on to Bourbon Road wanting for food stuff. 

Mayor LaToya Cantrell even remarked that the closure of dining places and bars was driving the rats mad.
