Maryland governor explained he was consistently denied authorization to send Countrywide Guard to D.C.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) said Thursday that right after receiving a request for assist from the District of Columbia on Wednesday, he quickly mobilized the condition law enforcement and Countrywide Guard, but was consistently denied authorization to deploy.
